Our colleagues at Concordia UK are looking for volunteers to work at Fairthorne Manor YMCA in Southampton for 6 months.
Fairthorne Manor is situated in a village called Curdridge near the town of Southampton on the south coast of England. Fairthorne Manor is around a 15 minute walk into the village where there are shops and pubs. The nearest train station is Botley, from where it is around half an hour's drive to Southampton city centre.
Each year, thousands of visitors are welcomed to the 94-acre site of YMCA Fairthorne Manor. The site includes mature woodland, a lake, access to the River Hamble and a range of exciting outdoor activities. Fairthorne is a place of firsts - from toddlers going for a walk, kids splashing in the mud, being away from home for the first time, trying new activities or having an unforgettable school trip.
There is currently one vacancy for volunteers in each of three positions:
CONCUKMTV01-23: Support High Ropes as 'Activity Leader High Ropes' from February 20th to August 18th, 2023.
CONCUKMTV01B-23: Join all water sports activities as 'Activity Leader Water' from March 13th to August 18th, 2023.
CONCUKMTV01C-23: Assist as an 'Activity Leader' in all kinds of YMCA activities from April 13th to October 13th, 2023.
