Reforestation project in Mongolia
Before 1990, forests covered 10% of Mongolia's land area, but today that figure is only 7%.
The causes of this are uncontrolled deforestation, forest fires and global warming. In addition, trees in Mongolia grow slowly and can only be planted in May and mid-October.
Our partners at Mongolian WorkCamps Exchange have been organising this camp since 2002 in collaboration with NICE (Never-ending International WorkCamps Exchange) from Japan and are supported by the Greening Asia Fund.
When?
April 25th- May 5th, 2026
What is it about?
Be part of the Greening Asia campaign and plant trees on the grounds of our partners at Mongolian WorkCamps Exchange and at several other locations. Spring is the only season when trees can be planted in Mongolia.
Register now!
There are still places available for volunteers from Germany, so register now to take part in this camp.
