Support a project to rebuild after the devastating floods in Spain!
In this project, you will support various organizations working to help rehabilitate the areas and regions affected by the 2024 floods in Spain. Several volunteer teams will be active throughout 2026 as part of the project. In August, our partners of De Amicitia are again looking for talented young musicians who can play an instrument.
When?
August 23 - September 10
What's it about?
At this camp, you will form a swing band to bring hope, solidarity, and joy to the communities hardest hit by the floods through live concerts. In addition to the music, our main goal is to continue raising awareness of the flood's impact and to build strong social connections with the local population.
The project culminates in a grand finale concert with the Lindy Hopper Society. You can find the video from the previous project here. We are looking for dedicated musicians, especially drummers, wind players, and bassists. We also need videographers/photographers to document the trip and raise awareness of the project, as well as drivers for logistics.
Besides musical talent, you should definitely bring initiative!
This project is funded as a volunteering team through the European Solidarity Corps.
This means that as a volunteer at this camp, you will receive pocket money and a travel allowance for your trip from Germany to Spain.
Participation in European Solidarity Corps projects is open to all young volunteers between the ages of 18 and 30 who reside in a participating country.
Register now!
We still have a few spots available for volunteers from Germany, so register now to join this project in August.
