Teenie-Workcamp in France

Workcamp at the Beaumotte youth center

Are you between 15 and 17 years old? Do you want to exchange ideas, meet new people, improve our environment? Then this project is just right for you. From July 31 to August 14, 2021, our French partner organization Solidarités Jeunnesses invites you to the Center Beaumotte. Here you can learn new things, have fun and, together with the other volunteers, influence others and our environment.

What is this camp about?

Here you will learn to work with wood, to build different structures, to work in a team and to organize and enjoy community life. To raise awareness of water conservation and environmental protection, you are building an outdoor dry toilet in the centre's large garden under the guidance of a technical manager.

In your free time you can explore the area with the other volunteers on site. Visits to the city of Besançon, the Ronchamp chapel or hikes in the Jura massif are also on the program.

Covid-19: Current regulations in France

You can find the latest information on traveling to France on the website of the German Federal Foreign Office.

Your hosts have guidelines on how to deal with Covid-19 during your stay, and are prepared to comply with government guidelines and, if necessary, to isolate participants to protect against infection.

Read here what you should consider in order to travel safely this summer.
