Entdecke die Sterntaler Moore und hilf dabei sie zu erhalten!
12 Freiwillige inkl. Campleitung
Bad Feilnbach is quite proud to be a region which is known for its marshes and its curative and regenerative mud baths. But the community also knows the value of environmental action! That’s why it established the “Sterntaler Filze”, a region in which young and old alike can experience and learn about the marshes alongside guided paths. The nature here is protected and taken care of, as the community of Bad Feilnbach understands it as part of their city’s history and their individual responsibility. By partaking in this project you will help to protect life on land (SDG 15 life on land) and ensure quality education (SDG 4 quality education).
In this camp you will help the community to take care of the marshes by helping with the tasks that arise in a naturally in such an untouched environment.
You will also help renovate the wooden paths which offer an inclusive element for wheelchair users and lead through the marshes.
You will be staying at a local campsite which leaves nothing to be desired. There are good sanitary facilities and an opportunity to cook! You will only need to bring your own sleeping bags.
You will sleep in shared tents and can share your experiences in intimate conversations after a day’s work!
Bad Feilnbach lies just in front of the Bavarian Alps at the foot of mount Wendelstein which is 1838 meters high. You won’t need binoculars to spot these giant mountains right in front of your doorstep! The town itself and its surroundings are picturesque and filled with buildings – especially catholic churches - which are rich in historic and cultural value. The nature here is quite untouched and the deep forests and breathtaking views are just waiting to be explored and enjoyed by your group in your spare time.
