Training for Trainers and Group Leaders: Increase the awareness among young people about the links between climate, social justice and human rights and improve their engagement
The aim of the ReAct Now project is to increase the potential of young people by empowering youth organizations in Italy, France and Germany (Europe) as well as in Israel, Palestine and Jordan (MENA region) to engage young people for climate and social justice.
Four group leaders and one youth expert from each of the participating countries will take part in this international training.
The aim of the exchange is to improve mutual understanding between the group leaders from the different countries. The awareness of the European youth for the situation of the youth in the MENA countries should be strengthened (and vice versa).
The aim is to sensitize the participating youth organizations to the links between climate justice and human rights and to improve our ability to engage young people on these issues.
In the course of the training, non-formal workshop ideas and methods are developed, which are then made available to all organizations as a toolkit. These workshop modules will then be tested and further developed by the group leaders over the next few months as part of work camps, seminars or training sessions.
During this time, the group leaders are supported by their “Youth Expert” and experiences and feedback are exchanged in online meetings.
