Report: "ReActNow: Engaging youth to act for social and climate justice"

Climate, social justice and human rights

At the end of April 2025, we met with our partners from Legambiente (Italy), Palestinian Centre for Media, Research and Development (Palestine), Baladna (Israel), Solidarités Jeunesses (France), Space for Sustainable Development (Jordan) and CCIVS (Coordinating Committee For International Voluntary Service) at the Magliano Sabina ecoHostel near Rome as part of the ‘ReAct Now’ project for a training for trainers.

‘ReAct Now’ is a project funded by the European Union's Erasmus+ programme. The aim of the project is to increase the potential of young people by empowering youth organisations in Italy, France and Germany (Europe) as well as in Israel, Palestine and Jordan (MENA region) to engage young people in climate and social justice issues.

ReAct Now - Youth Toolkit for Climate Justice

Five volunteers and group leaders from each of the participating organisations in Italy were present to discuss the links between climate justice and human rights and to improve their skills in engaging young people in these issues.

During the training, non-formal workshop ideas and methods were developed, which are now available as a toolkit to all organisations and interested parties.

The toolkit is intended to provide inspiration for activities based on participatory methods and non-formal education in local communities.

Download the toolkit free of charge here.
