Would you like to work on and discuss about the topic of plastic (waste) in your Workcamp?
Maike is studying environmental education and, as part of her final thesis, dealt with the topic of environmental education in international groups. She created a workshop concept on the subject 'Plastic in everyday life and in nature' and shared it with IBG.
Workshop goals
The aims of the workshop are to sensitize participants to the effects of plastic consumption, raise awareness of the effects of plastic pollution and enable a broad discussion of the topic. In addition, participants should learn how long plastic garbage remains in the environment until it is decomposed and what they can do to prevent plastic in everyday life.
The workshop educates about different types of plastic and about the areas in which plastic saves lives, but also about the dangers of plastic in the environment. Finally, concrete solution ideas for less plastic consumption in everyday life are developed, ideas for one's own everyday life are recorded, but also what can be suggested in one's own social environment.
