Internship in Great Britain (2 months)

Established in 1990 in Worcestershire, England, Green & Away is a unique venue and campground that offers groups, organizations and individuals a natural, eco-friendly and creative space to come together and relax. The Green & Away is a unique and magical place with something for everyone.

The Green & Away is offering internships from June 10th to August 16th. During the internship, you can undertake a long-term project or a portfolio of smaller projects, all with a focus on sustainability, ecotourism and outdoor living.

Green & Away works with a number of “departments”, i.e. different areas, and in addition to your individual project, you will be assigned tasks within one or more of these areas (you can indicate your preferences in your application). We recommend that you think about which areas interest you most and what skills you bring to the table. The different areas are as follows:

  1.      Catering & sustainable food

  2.      Hospitality and ecotourism

  3.      Technical and maintenance

  4.      Office and project management

  5.      Eco event management

Your tasks

The program is varied and can be adapted to you and your interests. The Green & Away is a place where you can learn new skills, meet a range of different people, and learn about sustainability, environmental education, and running a nonprofit organization. The Green & Away has taken on interns every summer for five years and the feedback has been excellent.
