Teenage camp in France
Nestled in a green valley, the commune of Saint-Amand-de-Coly lies at the heart of the Périgord Noir, a region steeped in history.
The Abbey of Saint-Amand bears witness to the power of the Church in this region during the Middle Ages. For several years, our partner organisation Solidarités Jeunesses has been working continuously with volunteers on the abbey and its city walls.
When?
July 27th - August 10th, 2026
What is this project about?
Help protect the local cultural heritage around the old railway tunnel in the village of Coly. Together with a local resident, you will clean, brush and beautify the entrance to the tunnel, which is home to bats protected by the Conservatoire d'Espaces Naturels (Conservatory of Natural Areas).
Festivals, night markets and village fairs will mark the summer. Experience the hospitality of the local population and the charm of the countryside as you work with other volunteers and camp leaders to organise your programme of activities.
Register now!
This camp is open to young volunteers aged between 15 and 17. You can register directly here.
