The corona pandemic has mixed up all your plans abroad and you are looking for alternatives for a longer voluntary service? Do you want to get involved internationally, but don't know what options are currently available?
We also do not have all the answers to questions about Corona and stays abroad right now. But at least a few good examples and stories about what volunteers have been doing abroad this year and how traveling has worked out so far despite the corona pandemic. In addition, we can already introduce you to the first international workcamps that are expected to take place in 2021. And we have lots of ideas on how you can get involved in an international group virtually without traveling.
Organize a virtual information session with us!
If you are active in a youth center, a student initiative or an association in which there are several people who are interested in stays abroad and volunteering, get in touch with us. We would be happy to organize a virtual information hour with you, in which we discuss the questions that interest you most on the topic. By the way: Thanks to special teenage projects, workcamps are open to everyone over the age of 15 - so you can get involved internationally even when you are at school.
During a virtual information session, our volunteers will tell you directly about their experiences with workcamps and with digital volunteering this year. We can give you tips on how and where you can get involved right now. We can provide an online room for the event and are happy to bring along a few interactive online activities so that there is enough space for creativity and fun despite the video conference.
