The application phase for our multi-month training program 'Kompetenz International' is open!
Can you now apply for the annual training series until the end of January. Within the framework of 'Kompetenz International' you will learn how to lead international teams and convey topics of global learning. 'Kompetenz International' includes 5 different modules.
Modules of the training

Kick-off meeting: Here we start into the range of topics and the program together, you can get to know the other participants and the IBG team, and we agree on individual learning goals. (online meeting, date will be "doodled" with all participants)

Training for group leaders: Here you prepare yourself to lead an international Workcamp. The training includes units on e.g. group dynamics, conflict management, leadership styles and inclusion. (08-11 June 2023 in Fornsbach near Stuttgart)

International training or workshop: Here, all participants can choose between taking part in an international training: With one of our partner organizations in other European countries, you can take part in various training courses on topics such as sustainability, inclusion, peace work or similar. (5-10 days between June and September 2023)
Alternatively, you can offer a small workshop on a topic of global learning in one of our international Workcamps in Germany. (one day plus preparation and follow-up; by arrangement between June and September 2023)

Practice Your Experience: In summer you lead an international Workcamp in Germany. (2 to 3 weeks full-time, project between June and September 2023)

Evaluation and evaluation: You evaluate your experience and your individual learning progress together with the other participants. At the IBG Volunteers' Weekend we will also analyze and record the skills acquired during the training. (October 06-08, 2023 in Heidelberg)
Costs
For the entire program we charge a deposit of 50€, which you will get back if you successfully complete all the modules. Participation is open to anyone between the ages of 18 and 30.
