IBG Workcamp Photo Contest 2023

Did you bring back great pictures from your camp? Then choose the best one and take part in the IBG Photo Contest!

It's time for our 2023 Workcamp Photo Contest! Under the motto "...peacing the world together!", we have been wanting to enable young people around the world to contribute to a more peaceful world for over 50 years. What is your best workcamp memory from this year? What was your greatest workcamp moment? Your personal point of view is required.

You can win...

  1.  Place: An IBG Hoodie (your choice of color and logotype style)
  2.  Place: An IBG t-shirt
  3.  Place: A voucher for placement in a Workcamp of your choice in Germany or abroad. (With the voucher you do not pay any placement fee with IBG for the camp - you do have to pay travel costs and other costs yourself, however.)

Here's how you can participate:

  1. Follow us on Instagram @ibgworkcamps.

  2. Post your favorite Workcamp photo. It's up to you whether it's the most spectacular landscape, the greatest group picture, your best food, etc. from your camp...

  3. Tag us (@ibgworkcamps) in the picture and add the hashtag #ibgworkcamps2023.

No Instagram account? No problem. You can also send us your photo for the contest by email to info@ibg-workcamps.org. Subject: "IBG Photo Contest 2023".

The closing date for entries is October 1st, 2023.

All contest entries will be displayed at this year's IBG Volunteers' Weekend and be put up for voting there.

Conditions of Participation

Anyone who has  been to a Workcamp can participate - whether as a volunteer in Germany or abroad, as a camp leader, as a project partner or as a work instructor - and who has a place of residence in Germany.

By submitting your photo, you confirm that the image rights are solely yours, i.e. that no third parties can assert rights to the submitted image. In addition, you assure that all persons visible in your photo agree to the publication of the contribution via IBG's social media channels.

IBG reserves the right to exclude images from participation in the competition if the submitted photos violate applicable law or the values of the association. This also applies to violations of the conditions of participation and attempts to manipulate the competition.
