Volunteers wanted for a community garden and intercultural exchange project in St. Vincent Jalmoutiers
The association PRAHDA (PROgramme d'Accueil et d'Hébergement des Demandeurs d'Asile) from St Aulaye and Ami24Ouest are partners for this project, which aims to enable people from countries outside Europe to better integrate and meet, in particular through the Participation in voluntary environmental and heritage activities.
In the PRADHA community garden, at this camp you will garden with the locals and build outdoor furniture to make the place even more welcoming.
When?
01-22 October 2022
The project
You are responsible for building outdoor furniture and gardening, as well as designing local intercultural activities. You work about 6 half days a week, divided between time in the garden and time spent chatting with the families living in the area.
Where?
You will be welcomed in the holiday village of St. Vincent Jalmoutiers, 5 km from the place of work. You will be accommodated here in dormitories in small chalets for 6 people. Meals will be cooked and eaten together, so bring your favorite recipes with you.
