What is the camp about?
You will work with the organisation's volunteers to prepare and set up the festival: putting up barriers, managing car parks, decorating the stage, etc. Your tasks will consist of preparing the park for the audience and assisting the volunteers with the logistics of the event.
Due to weather conditions, it can get very hot. Working hours may therefore be adjusted to avoid the hottest periods of the day while ensuring that the festival is ready on time.
After the festival, you will help with cleaning and tidying up the site.
Where is the camp located?
The work camp takes place in Montendre, 65 km from Bordeaux. From here, you can visit many historic towns such as Jonzac, Blaye, Rochefort, La Rochelle and Bordeaux. You can also go hiking in the surrounding forests or enjoy the beautiful beaches on the Gironde coast.
During the camp, you will be accommodated at the Maison de Bateleurs in Montendre, where long-term volunteers from our partner organisation Solidarités Jeunesses also live.
