State Forestry Drentsche Aa (Netherlands)

The "Drentsche Aa" has been named the most beautiful landscape in the Netherlands. The area is a varied old cultural landscape, characterized by the ancient interplay of agriculture and nature. "Drentsche Aa" is also the name of the stream that meanders through this area and is a typical landscape that has been declared a National Park and includes 16 authentic villages.

Together with the Dutch State Forest Service, our colleagues from SIW are organizing an international workcamp here for the 15th time, so that the Oudemolen project is almost part of the collective memory of the region. The local residents have shown great interest in the international work every year and will again be involved in the project in one way or another this year. So you can count on a warm welcome.
