Elderflower Fields Festival (Great Britain)

Become part of the Elderflower Fields Festival in Sussex!

The Elderflower Fields Festival was founded in 2012 out of a desire to create a new festival specifically for families and children. The festival was so popular that it was held again in 2013 and then at a new, larger venue in 2014.

The festival is designed specifically for those with young children, giving little festival newbies the opportunity to immerse themselves in a magical world full of music, fun and nature. Families return year after year for a weekend full of new experiences, discoveries and celebrations.

Elderflower Fields is an independent festival created by So Sussex and put together by a small but active group to provide audiences with a magical experience. The rest of the festival consists of friends, families and amazing volunteers - maybe you too this year!

When?

May 22 - 29, 2024

What is it about?

Become part of the community that comes together to make the festival possible. Many of the volunteers come back year after year and will be there to show you the most important tasks.

As a volunteer, you are part of the field team – the eyes and ears of the festival. The two of you will volunteer to look after a specific area of the event and act as a contact point for the guests. You answer questions, provide directions, and help people find their way. You are in contact with event control, report any incidents and pass on information to visitors. Therefore, it is important that you have good English skills in listening and speaking!

Since you arrive a few days before the festival begins, there are several tasks to do to get the area “ready”. After the festival there will be work to restore the site to an area of natural beauty.
