Get involved in organizing an ecological festival in France!
In 1995, volunteers from our partner organization Solidarités Jeunesses founded 'Vir'Volt', a regional delegation in the Ile-de-France, the region around Paris. Every summer, Vir'Volt organizes international camps and European youth exchanges on its own premises or in the surrounding towns and villages.
For 3 years, Vir'Volt has been building a small camping village that will welcome young people from all over the world every year. They should get to know each other and learn from the differences, think and act together to protect the environment, but also get to know and support the environment and its people.

What is the camp about?
During this camp you will take part in an important step in the development of ' Vir'volt ': the construction of a new yurt and the organization of the Vir'volt Festival!
For the third time, the small village is organizing its own festival! This year you're getting involved - by building wooden furniture, ecological decoration, but also by holding workshops, the Vir'Volt Festival will be your experience! You will also be involved in the construction of a new wooden stage to accommodate theater groups and bands.
Vir'Volt aims to become completely eco-friendly and sustainable, which is reflected in the camping village: yurts and teepees as rooms, permaculture farming and gardening, water saving projects, waste prevention and reuse.
Please be aware: This project should not be seen as a sightseeing trip to Paris. If you want to visit Paris, you should do it before your arrival or after the camp.
