Women in action (France)

Support a conservation project in a French peatland area!

The 'Auga' peatland, located in the French municipality of Louvie-Juzon in the heart of the Béarn, is a sensitive natural area with a unique mosaic of ecosystems in the foothills of the Pyrenees.

After being used as pasture for a long time, the municipality is now working on the restoration of the peatland. Numerous educational activities are carried out on site for schoolchildren and residents all year round.

The camp organized by our colleagues from Concordia France here is not only an opportunity to contribute to the preservation of this unique place, but also to learn more about the peatland and its peculiarities.
