From Nature to Gardens (France)

Workcamp for teenagers: working on a permaculture garden

The La Clusaz youth hostel in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region welcomes tourists all year round who want to discover the Alpine landscape and enjoy outdoor activities. The hostel attaches great importance to sustainability and environmental protection in the field of tourism and wants to create additional offers that reflect these values.

For example, last year a permaculture garden was created to promote local biodiversity: this garden is an open space accessible to all and offers the opportunity to observe nature, recharge your batteries and understand the interactions between ecosystems.

Our colleagues at Concordia in France are organizing a camp in La Clusaz for the second time in July. In this camp, young volunteers between the ages of 15 and 17 are invited to complete the garden.
