Volunteer in a nature conservation project in France!
The French department of Hérault has been pursuing an ambitious and voluntary land policy to protect sensitive natural areas for several years. By acquiring certain plots of land, it makes it possible to preserve them as part of the compensatory measures.
The area welcomes a shepherd and his sheep all year round. There are also 'discovery classes' here who want to learn about ecology and environmental education as well as sustainable development.
Our colleagues from Concordia France are organizing an international Workcamp with Hérault for the 8th time.
When?
September 6-20, 2024
What is the project about?
The camp takes place on a site in the department where nature lovers like to hike and walk. There are several educational trails here where visitors can learn about the flora and fauna.
You will work on various landscaping projects to preserve this exceptional site. Your specific tasks include, for example, building wooden play equipment, benches and picnic tables, as well as maintaining some footpaths through the area.
This place is dedicated to the public, young and old, but also hosts an agricultural project: sheep and wild boars will work alongside you.

We still have a free spot for a volunteer from Germany, so register now to be part of this camp.
