Are you taking part in your first Workcamp and wondering what to expect there? Have you never traveled alone and need tips for your trip? Are you registered for a longer voluntary service and would like to prepare for it? We are always happy to answer your questions in person, by email or by phone in the office.
But you are also warmly invited to come to Fornsbach for our preparation day for outgoing volunteers!
When?
Saturday 10 June 2023
The program begins after breakfast and ends with dinner. If you don't live near Stuttgart, you can arrive on Friday and leave on Sunday. Board and lodging will be provided, as we are on site at the same time as a training course for group leaders.

What is the preparation day about?
There will be workshops on group processes, your rights and duties as a volunteer and many practical tips and tricks on travel, intercultural exchange and everyday life with larger groups. You will meet other young people who would also like to take part in Workcamps, as well as the people behind IBG. Experienced team leaders give you insights into 'their' Workcamps and tell how they overcame challenges or conflicts.
