Practical semester in social work

For the summer semester 2023 we are looking for a motivated intern as part of a

practical semester in studies of social work (or similar).

We organize international workcamps in Germany. At the workcamps, young people from all over the world live together for two to three weeks and, together with a local partner (youth welfare facility, municipality, nature conservation facility, etc.), implement non-profit work projects such as building a playground or renaturing a river. This combination of international encounters and voluntary commitment is part of non-formal learning and educational processes.

The following three aspects are important to us: "Access for All" - We use special approaches to integrate young people with individual support needs. "Sustainability" - We place great importance to the ecologically sustainable design of the projects. "Local impact" - In addition to the work result, other impulses should also remain in the project location.
