Open doors in our Workcamp in Feuerbach

As part of the ‘KeinGarten’ project in Stuttgart-Feuerbach, we are transforming an overgrown piece of land this year and creating a meeting place between people and their natural environment. The KeinGarten aims to promote peace, environmental education and leisure activities and develop as a community project.

At the end of September, we are inviting you to an open day there!

When?

Tuesday, 23rd September, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

What is the project about?

This year, in cooperation with Dipl.-Ing. and freelance architect Wolfgang Zaumseil, we are running a camp in the Feuerbach Valley in Stuttgart.

From 14th to 28th September, we will be staying at KeinGarten for two weeks with a small group of volunteers. The KeinGarten project is taking place on a 5,500 m² plot of land between Feuerbach and Botnang, part of which is left in its natural state.

The aim is to create a place where people can enjoy the natural environment without disturbing the other creatures that already live there. After the site was used as a green classroom by the Feuerbach School of Colour and Design, two social days by Mercedes Mobility and the arrival of a bee colony by Bienenschutz e.V., as well as an initial wild herb tour by certified herbalist Friederike Zaumseil, our international camp is now working here. Among other things, we want to create diverse micro-habitats.

Who can come?

The open day is for everyone involved in the project and our camp.

You willhave the opportunity to get to know the place, the ‘KeinGarten’ project and our volunteers, to exchange ideas or to lend a hand.

If you would like to come by, just get in touch with Lisa.
