Support wanted for the project 'A'Naca - Agri Bike Camping' in Sicily
The host of this camp is Alice, who started the project 'A'naca - Agri Bike Camping' in the Italian town of Limina in the province of Messina.
The aim of the project is to revive the rural areas of Sicily and to protect them from destruction by fires.
'A'naca - Agri Bike Camping' is located on an unused farm in an untouched and sparsely populated area, where she can learn more about regenerative agriculture and sustainability. It focuses on ecological sustainability, aims to combine people with nature and offers cyclists: inside a place where you can stop or repair your bicycles, and warmly welcome hiking.

The project
Most tasks in this camp are related to the general care of the property, i.e. vegetable growing and management of the vegetable gardens, picking and processing of fruit and vegetables, care and irrigation of small trees and plants, small construction, craft and art projects with wood and recycled materials ...
Specific activities can result from your special skills and interests. Every activity precedes the importance of the activity and special features in relation to history, place and context.
You work from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The afternoons are free. In the evening, joint activities are organized, such as campfires or board games, music ...
Be aware: there is only vegetarian food available here. You should bring an interest in agriculture, and a love for rural areas and hiking.
