Virtual Camps - volunteer online!

Whether environmental work or sports, communication, a social project or artistic / creative ideas - there are numerous ways you can get involved from home and get to know other volunteers from all over the world online.

In a virtual camp you get together in an international group to work on a non-profit project or to exchange ideas on a specific topic in an online workshop.

At the same time, you get to know ideas, experience, music, recipes and much more from many different countries, just like in a 'real' workcamp.

I have taken part in the leading of our activity and it's just heartwarming to see all those people's smiley faces on zoom and seeing that people are bonding and exchanging a lot makes me really happy!

How can I volunteer online?

In virtual work camps there are a wide variety of work projects and activities that you can join. For example, learn in a home gardening project how to create a small garden at home. Create short educational videos with other volunteers. Or practice your foreign language skills in "Virtual Speaking Clubs".

Whether environmental issues, sport, health, communication or artistic / creative ideas - there are numerous ways you can volunteer from home and get to know other volunteers from around the world online. In addition, you can of course also exchange ideas, experiences, music, recipes and much more, just like in a 'real' workcamp.

Participation in a virtual camp is open to all interested volunteers who would like to volunteer their time and creative energy online for a non-profit project. In addition, language skills in English (in designated projects also in French, Spanish or other languages) as well as a working internet connection are required. In some virtual camps, there are additional requirements for participation, e.g. special age restrictions, previous experience in the work, etc. All information can be found in the individual camp descriptions.

Participation in a virtual camp is free of charge. But we can only organize and cfacilitate the virtual projects through our organisation's work, so we are of course very happy about a small donation.

With your support, we can continue to realize great project ideas or support volunteers who would otherwise not be able to participate in a workcamp. The donations are tax deductible in Germany. We can of course send you a donation receipt.
