Preparing for your volunteering project

Rucksack

You are taking part in your first Workcamp and are wondering what awaits you there? You have never been travelling alone and need tips for your trip? Are you registered for a longer voluntary service and would you like to prepare for it? We are always happy to answer your questions in person, by email or by phone!

We have also summarized important basic information in the "Infopack Workcamp Teilnahme" (in German). You can find tips on how to travel to the Workcamp as sustainably as possible here.

When planning your trip, take a look at the "Sustainable Transport Infosheet", where you can find links to bus and train websites in many countries.

You are also invited to take part in our preparatory day. Participation for all volunteers we send abroad is already included in the placement fee.

Preparatory Day 2024

June 1st, 2024 in Fornsbach

During the preparation day, we work with you on the following topics: rights and obligations of volunteers, group life, conflict management, anti-discrimination, security and practical tips for the trip.

In addition, there will be many testimonials from our team members and other former workcamp participants, so that the personal exchange of experience is the focus of the training.
